Hello! My name is Pavel Kossenkov, and I am alcoholic designer. I was born in 1984, Moscow, Russian Federation, and grew up in post communism boiling country. It was an interesting and ambiguous period, which undoubtedly had much influence on formation of my person. Since my childhood I have liked painting and modeling, that's why I joined art school together with studying at high school. And when the time came to make a decision about the institute, I preferred a design faculty of MIEM. I started learning illustration, printing art, web design, photography and allied disciplines. In 2006 I got a diploma of graphic designer, at same time I made a freelance project for a furniture gallery, it was cognitive experience. I have familiarized myself with creative work of influential designers like Mies van der Rohe, Philipp Plein, Philip Stark etc. Today most of the time I spend making some POS production like booklets, leaflets; develop logos and firm style. I really like photo, especially monochromatic and retro stylized. As for me, the most important thing in this process is the mood. There is much in common between photo art and cinema, so I'm inspired by films by Andrey Tarkovskiy, Stanley Kubrick, Lars von Trier, Leos Carax, Wong Kar Wai, Wim Wenders, Danny Boyle and others. Besides, I am very fond of music ... and always have been ... and it makes my day too.
